We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the following contract position for our client, who is an industry leader:

Position: Senior Project Manager
Type: Long Term Contract

Job Requirements

• Must have Technical Project Management experience delivering custom application developed software, that are consumer facing
• Maintain direct communication with T&I development teams and with Business teams to ensure accuracy on individual projects and the overall status of the projects
• Regularly communicate status of projects, issues and overall client activity to the team and Snr Development Manager – this includes leading status meetings as needed
• Escalate any major roadblocks or risk factors to the PMO Lead & AD Delivery Mgmt., and work together to initiate activities to quickly resolve issues
• Responsible for the budgetary requirements for all individual project activity
• Act as project manager for multi-varied projects; write functional specs, create project plans, lead kick-off meetings, and manage budgets
• Facilitate all phases of development including definition, development, implementation, testing and launch; developing any documentation necessary to clearly communicate project requirements and parameters
• Work effectively with other departments ensuring a smooth and productive flow of work

Required Skills

• Out of the total IT experience, at least 5 years’ experience in a technology focused project management role, or equivalent software development organization
• Experience developing feature/Functions for consumer facing applications and Web Pages
• Dynamic leadership, management and team building skills
• Strong people facing skills
• Successful track record managing multiple projects
• Strong presentation skills
• Sound qualitative & quantitative analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
